Sarkhej Roza Palace Complex is a historic architectural complex located in Sarkhej, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Built during the 15th century by the Gujarat Sultanate, the complex served as a royal retreat and spiritual center. Sarkhej Roza was constructed in the 15th century during the reign of the Gujarat Sultanate, particularly under Sultan Mahmud Begada. The complex was designed as a royal retreat and spiritual center, combining palaces, mosques, and tombs in a harmonious architectural ensemble. The complex is named after the Sufi saint Sheikh Ahmed Khattu Ganj Baksh, whose tomb is located here. Over the centuries, it has been recognized as an important example of Indo-Islamic architecture.
