Monsoon Palace was constructed by Maharana Sajjan Singh between 1884 and 1889, though it was completed by his successor. The palace was designed to observe monsoon clouds and served as a hunting lodge. Today, it stands as a popular tourist destination, especially for sunset views over Udaipur.
