Bhitarkanika National Park is one of India’s most important mangrove ecosystems, located in Kendrapara district of Odisha. It is renowned for its rich biodiversity and large population of saltwater crocodiles.
The park forms part of the Bhitarkanika ecosystem along the Brahmani and Baitarani river delta.
