Salar Jung Museum is one of the three National Museums of India and houses one of the largest one-person collections of antiques in the world. Located in Hyderabad, Telangana, the museum was established in 1951 and contains the art collection of Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, Salar Jung III, a former Prime Minister of the Nizam of Hyderabad. The museum displays a diverse collection of artifacts from different civilizations, cultures, and periods, including Indian, European, Middle Eastern, and Far Eastern art. The collection spans over 40,000 objects, with approximately 9,000 on display.
