Anand Sagar Lake, also widely known as Bai Talab, is a picturesque artificial lake located in the eastern part of Banswara. Constructed by Lanchi Bai, the Queen of Maharaval Jagmal Singh, this lake is a significant historical and recreational landmark. The lake is renowned for being home to the holy Kalpa Vriksha (Tree of Life), a pair of ancient trees believed to have wish-fulfilling powers, which attracts numerous devotees. The surroundings are dotted with chattris (cenotaphs) of the former rulers of the state, adding a heritage charm to the scenic beauty.

The best time to visit is during the winter months (October to March) when the weather is pleasant for outdoor activities. The monsoon season also offers a lush green view, though boating might be restricted during heavy rains. Early mornings and evenings are the most preferred times of the day to avoid the midday sun.
