Public bus services operated by the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation and Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) provide connectivity to the area. Taxis, auto-rickshaws, and app-based cab services operate regularly, offering convenient access for visitors. Private vehicles can also access the museum easily via ECR, with parking facilities available. The museum is easily accessible from major railway stations and the international airport, making it convenient for both local visitors and tourists. The museum is open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday through Monday, and remains closed on Tuesdays. Entry fees are: Indian Adults ₹175 on weekdays and ₹200 on weekends and special days; Indian Children (5 to 15 years) ₹100; Overseas Visitors ₹350; Overseas Students ₹200.
